People Standing in Line in Texas

Disaster Relief: Winter Storm Uri

Millions of Texans were without power, heat and clean water after winter storm Uri devastated the state last week. While power has been restored to most, many are still dealing with the effects of the storm.

The historic storm left countless families without power for days, battling freezing temperatures and frozen and bursting pipes.

Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries, World Missions, is providing immediate aid and assistance to Texans because of the generous donations of our partners.

AdditionallyHand of Hope is partnering with several organizations and churches in Texas, including Mercy Chefs in the Dallas area, serving meals to those without power or access to groceries. God’s Pit Crew, located in Houston, has been providing food and water, Elevate Life Church in Frisco is feeding people in their community, Milestone Church is helping many families in Keller.

We’ve also partnered with Water Mission to provide a truck-full of plumbing supplies, so local plumbers in Austin can get people the help they need. Together we are working to bring necessary relief to everyone affected by this storm.

Please pray for everyone affected by this disaster, including the power companies and first responders as they react to this devastating crisis. You can make a difference in the lives of so many in Texas, as well as those affected by future disasters. Join us at joycemeyer.org/DisasterRelief
