Thailand | October 25 - November 4, 2018

We are excited to return to Thailand for the first time since 2011! Join us October 25-November 4, 2018 as we serve in a country that we love. We will be working with our Hand of Hope field office in Thailand and partnering with Lifepoint Church www.lifepoint.org. This will be a great opportunity to share the love of Christ!

Missions

Mission Overview

A medical/dental clinic in this area is rare and the needs are tremendous. On this outreach we will help many of the sick and hurting who would otherwise go without much needed treatment. We will set up a general medical/dental clinic and treat patients' needs as they present. We will also pray with every patient and give them an opportunity to receive Christ. The team will be staying in a hotel based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Mission Schedule

Thursday, October 25
Depart home city; meet the team in Washington, DC and fly to Thailand together as a team. (This is a US departure date; other countries may vary).

Saturday, October 27
Arrive in Chiang Rai,Thailand and drive to the hotel. Team orientation.

Sunday, October 28
Church in the morning, pack medication

Monday, October 29
Medical/Dental Clinic

Tuesday, October 30
Medical/Dental Clinic

Wednesday, October 31
Medical/Dental Clinic

Thursday, November 1
Medical/Dental Clinic

Friday, November 2
Medical/Dental Clinic

Saturday, November 3
Depart for home in the evening

Sunday, November 4
Arrive in Washington, DC in the afternoon

Mission Cost

Cost for Food, Lodging, Ground Transportation, Interpreters, Hand of Hope T-shirt, and Travel Health Insurance: $1,500.

Estimated airfare is $1,500 depending on your departure city. The registration is paid to Joyce Meyer Ministries, and you will pay the travel agent we use directly for your flight.

If you have not filled out an application, please view the application process below under Option 1 or Option 2. 

 If you have already been approved and would like to join the team, please call 1-800-707-7877 x3231 to make your $300 nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit to secure your spot on the team.

The $300.00 non-refundable deposit is needed in order to secure your place on the team once your application has been approved. The deposit is placed toward your total trip cost. After submitting your deposit, we will provide you with the information to book your airline ticket.  Hand of Hope will pre-select the team flight and we work closely with a travel agent who will coordinate the team’s itineraries. It is required to book your team travel through the travel agent we provide.

If you would like to stay longer than the scheduled outreach dates for your own leisure you are welcome to make those travel arrangements with the travel agent at the time of booking. You will be responsible to make all of your own travel arrangements and hotel accommodation after the team checks out of the hotel.
