WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

We would love to have you! Joyce Meyer Ministries is currently recruiting ushers to serve at Women’s Convention 2010.

There are some requirements…

• You must already be a registered guest (unless you served as a volunteer at Women’s Conference ‘09).

• You must be at least 16 years old and a resident of the U.S. or Canada.

• You must be able to volunteer at all 5 sessions.

• You must be present for Volunteer Training on Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 10 am until noon.

• Ushers must be in position to serve guests 3 hours before each session.

• Because you will be assisting people with seating, collecting offering buckets and passing out handouts, you must be physically able to stand on your feet, walk and climb stairs throughout the conference.

And some perks…

• Convention volunteers will enjoy reserved seating during each session and can invite one registered guest to sit with them.

• Volunteers will also receive a $60 gift certificate to use at our resource tables during the conference.

• Volunteers who serve as ushers during Women’s Convention 2010 and 2011 will receive free admission (registration not required) to Women’s Convention 2011.
  
  

In addition…

• We ask that conference volunteers conduct themselves in harmony with Biblical standards at all times

• The dress code is business casual.

• Please be willing to serve wherever you are needed. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests to serve in specific areas of the venue.

• Because it could interfere with your volunteer duties, we ask that you not bring along children who need adult supervision.

• Volunteers will be released from duty following Saturday’s afternoon session. Please keep this in mind when making your hotel and travel arrangements.

• Volunteers are required to pay their own food, travel and hotel expenses.

Approximately 2 weeks before the conference, those accepted to volunteer will receive a confirmation letter in the mail, including instructions about the training session and other important information.
