Through the support of our partners, we’ve established and support many children’s homes around the world. In 2007, we celebrated the opening of 8 new homes, and we currently fully fund and operate a total of 44 children’s homes all across Asia—in countries such as India, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal and Bhutan.
Only $21 a Month Provides Comprehensive Care for a Child
In addition to providing home-cooked meals and a clean and safe environment, these homes also serve to meet the children's spiritual needs. As in every area of ministry, the teaching of God's Word and prayer are both emphasized. In the arms of God, these children learn that they are not outcasts or burdens to society—they are priceless treasures! It costs $21 a month to house, feed and educate a child.
“We believe our work would all be worth it just to save one child,” says David L. Meyer, CEO of Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions. “But the truth is, with the help of our friends and partners, we are rescuing hundreds of precious lives that will be transformed both now and for eternity…and we could never thank them enough.”
Giving Children New Life
And so it is for many all across Asia who now have hope. The support you have sent to us has reached around the world and into the hearts of boys and girls. And today they are healthy children, loved children…your children. Friends and partners, thank you for all that you have done to breathe new life and new hope into such desperate situations. Together, with your help, we are reaching Asia one precious child at a time.
