Jeff Rice had been out of a job for ten months. Behind
on his bills and deeply discouraged, he considered
taking his own life. With a rope in his hand, he
sat down to write a suicide note to his roommate. At
that moment, he found Joyce on TV.
“She was talking about the future,” Jeff said. “It was
like Joyce was talking just to me. I was convinced my
life was over...but the more I listened to Joyce, the more
I let go of the rope. Then I fell to my knees and prayed.”
Jeff Rice is one of thousands of people worldwide
whose life was powerfully affected by our Enjoying
Everyday Life® telecast. In short, this program continues
to be our single greatest avenue for reaching
the world with the Gospel.
In September 1993 our telecast aired weekly on
just two U.S. stations. Enjoying Everyday Life can
now be seen daily and weekly on over 507 stations
worldwide—including several major cable
and satellite networks—and can be viewed 24/7 at
www.joycemeyer.org.
In 2005 alone, we began broadcasting on twenty-
five new stations and translated the program
into seven new languages. In all, our telecast airs
throughout two-thirds of the world.
But our goal to reach every nation, every city, every
day is about more than just adding more stations—
it is about changing lives.
It is about people like Thomas Morris. Thomas
had been a Christian for twenty years but admits
that he “never quite seemed to get it all together” in
his walk with God. All that changed when he tuned
in to Enjoying Everyday Life in January 2005 and
watched as Joyce and special guest Mark Hankins
talked about the spirit of faith. Their words sparked
something inside Thomas, and he immediately ordered
the teaching resource being offered.
“People are amazed at the change in my life,”
wrote Thomas. “But it’s all because of what I
learned from the show.” Today, Tom is teaching a
Bible study and believes that God has called him
into ministry. |
Your support enables us to minister to people
like Thomas around the world in twenty-five different
languages in nations like India, Germany and
Korea. One of our greatest outreaches has been to
the Middle East.

For centuries this Islamic region has been nearly
impossible to evangelize. In recent years an Arabic
station—Al-Hayat—has been televising Christian
programming throughout the Middle East, North
Africa, and even Europe.
“They are so blessed that Joyce Meyer would produce
a professionally dubbed program in their own
language,” says our Middle East director.
Feedback has been astounding. Each month
Al-Hayat programs receive over five thousand responses.
And even more amazing, the majority are
from Arabic men.
At Joyce Meyer Ministries we invest a lot of time
and hard work in our telecast because we know that
every day it has the potential to save someone’s life.
Friends and partners, thank you for your compassionate
support in 2005 that made all the difference
for people like Jeff Rice, Thomas Morris and countless
others. You have changed their lives forever,
helping us deliver a message they might not have
otherwise heard.
From Brazil to Bhutan, from Mali to Mexico,
from the shores of Sri Lanka to the heart of South
Africa, as well as here in the U.S, you are helping
Joyce Meyer Ministries touch the world for Jesus
Christ one nation, one city, one person at a time. |

"We were in one of the larger slums in
southern India, and the poverty was beyond
what most of us could imagine. Amazingly,
there was one nineteen-inch color TV in one
of the homes where people gathered to watch
Joyce’s program. They told me they like to
watch Joyce because she talks about real life
and helps them understand God. At that
moment I understood my job and my partnership
better than ever before. Imagine, that
was just one of the TVs in the world…tuned
in to Enjoying Everyday Life and hearing
the Gospel…every day."
