Joyce Meyer is one of the world's leading practical Bible teachers and a New York Times bestselling author, spreading God's Word to millions of people each year. Suffering sexual abuse as a child, Joyce discovered the freedom to live victoriously by applying God's Word to her life and, in turn, seeks to help others do the same. She has written over 100 books, conducts close to 15 conferences annually and has a potential audience of more than 4.5 billion people reaching two-thirds of the world with her Enjoying Everyday Life® broadcast. Time magazine selected Joyce as one of the most influential evangelical leaders in America.
Joyce Meyer began teaching the Word of God in 1976 and entered full-time ministry in 1980. She started by developing, coordinating and teaching a weekly meeting as an associate pastor in a church in St. Louis, Missouri. After five years, she established her own ministry called Life In The Word. In 2003 the ministry's name was changed to Joyce Meyer Ministries and the television, radio and magazine titles were changed to Enjoying Everyday Life.
Joyce Meyer Ministries is committed to teaching the practical truths of the Bible and meeting the needs of people around the world. Simply put, our goal is to help hurting people. Whether it's sharing the life-changing truth of God's Word through conferences, television, radio, the Internet and the printed word, or reaching out to people through our many humanitarian efforts, we strive to do all that we can to help those who need it.
It's understandable why someone would consider Joyce a televangelist, since she uses television—among other media—to teach. But Joyce considers herself a practical Bible teacher who shows people how to apply God's Word to their everyday life.
Joyce was ordained over 25 years ago. She has a worldwide congregation through the Enjoying Everyday Life television and radio programs. Joyce speaks regularly at public conferences in the United States and around the world. She also preaches occasionally at the St. Louis Dream Center church, an inner-city outreach of Joyce Meyer Ministries.
Joyce holds an honorary PhD in theology from Life Christian University in Tampa, Florida; an honorary doctorate in divinity from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and an honorary doctorate in sacred theology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Joyce Meyer Ministries' worldwide headquarters is located in Joyce's hometown of Fenton, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis). Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the facilities or visit the bookstore Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. For more information, please call (800) 727-9673.

Joyce Meyer Ministries voluntarily submits to an annual audit by an independent accounting firm. We also voluntarily submit to an annual legal audit to ensure that the ministry is complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Joyce Meyer Ministries is committed to making our audited financial statements readily available to the public and updating the information annually. View our annual report and financial information.
Joyce and Joyce Meyer Ministries are nondenominational.
Joyce Meyer Ministries believes in the Word of God. Joyce teaches that God has made promises to us in His Word and as believers, we should trust His promises (see 2 Peter 1:3,4). However, it can be damaging when people place their faith in faith alone instead of placing their faith in God. Misappropriation of God's promises solely for personal gain is not scripturally supported. For more information, view our Statement of Faith.
Joyce Meyer Ministries believes that God desires to bless His people. Joyce teaches that God's blessings and prosperity apply to the spiritual, emotional, physical and financial areas of life. These blessings and prosperity are then to be used to bless others (see Genesis 12:1-3). A "prosperity gospel" that solely equates blessing with financial gain is out of balance and could damage a person's walk with God. For more information, view our Statement of Faith.
Check our television listings and radio listings to find when the programs air in your area. You may also watch or listen to the programs anytime you want.
All of Joyce's teaching resources are available online in our Bookstore.
This has been one of the most challenging things for Joyce. She would love to be able to read every individual letter and personally speak with and pray for all those who call in. However, because of time constraints, her many responsibilities and her desire to stay faithful to God and focused on His call for her life, she is not able to respond personally to the many requests she receives. If you are in need of prayer, please contact one of our staff members who will pray with you. You may reach our prayer line by calling (800) 727-9673.
Joyce Meyer Ministries' partners make everything we do possible. First, as the Lord leads, they pray for our ministry and its many worldwide outreaches. Partners are also the main financial supporters of the work we do, pledging to give financially to Joyce Meyer Ministries on a regular monthly basis. If Joyce Meyer Ministries has changed your life, join us and become a partner.
As a partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries, you are changing lives around the world. With your support, every day we are feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, broadcasting the Gospel to millions through TV and radio, bringing hope to prisoners, ministering to the elderly, reaching out to troubled youth, caring for the homeless and so much more. In addition to impacting the world for Jesus Christ, you will receive a special resource from Joyce every month as well as a free subscription to our Enjoying Everyday Life magazine. Most importantly, you will come under a strong prayer covering. Dave and Joyce often say that they pray for their partners like they pray for their own family. In addition, ministry prayer teams pray regularly for your needs and every aspect of your life. To become a partner, we do not require you to give any certain amount; we simply ask that you pray and seek God's guidance in this decision.
