Enjoying Everyday Life

After thirty years of ministry, I am still excited about teaching people principles from God's Word. I love to encourage their relationship with Jesus and help them enjoy everyday life.

It has always been on Dave’s and my heart to help as many people as we can in every way we can. With the loving prayers and support of our friends and partners, we have been able to touch the lives of people all over the world. In fact, we continue to see countless people giving their lives to Jesus and experiencing all types of positive changes. Men, women and children are being delivered from every kind of bondage imaginable. And through the teaching of God’s Word, multitudes have been mentored and equipped to serve God in powerful ways.

But there is much more to do. There are still so many people who are separated from Christ, who need to be set free, and who are hungry to know God better. Now is the time for Christians to rise up and shine forth with the character of Christ. As believers we are called to be vessels of God’s love and mercy. To do this we must lean on the Lord for the grace, wisdom and strength necessary to be His witnesses in our own corner of the world.

I believe it’s time to receive a fresh vision of God’s will for us on the earth. We need to recapture a passion to fulfill the Great Commission and become more missions-minded—not just in far away places but also with the people who are part of our everyday lives. Ask God to give you new vision, passion and creative ideas for fulfilling the great commission in the world around you.

We believe this month’s issue will help you break out of the old mold of sharing the Gospel and give you radical new strategies to touch people with God’s healing love. I encourage you to ask God to make you more missions-minded. Make a decision that you will be a part of reaping a great harvest of souls for Christ—going into the enemy’s camp and making an eternal impact for God in the lives of people around you.

As you seek the Lord and make yourself available to Him, He will enable you to minister wholeness, wisdom and strength to others. By God’s grace and with faithful friends like you, Dave and I believe we will help more people in the years ahead than we ever have before. Thank you so much for your part in all we do.
