When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. (JOHN 19:30)

TELL YOURSELF every day that "It is finished!"Tell it to yourself every time you think that through some obedience or sacrifice you are winning God's approval. Say it out loud when you begin to think your financial giving or your prayers or your Bible reading are in some measure meritorious. Take out the two-edged sword of God's Word and let "It is finished!" mean exactly what Jesus accomplished on Calvary. 

    On the cross, Jesus totally destroyed the power of Satan, sin, and death. His perfect obedience straight through to the cross rendered satisfaction to the justice of God, and your personal debt for sin was forgiven to the very last sin.Will you add something to the price Christ paid? There is nothing for you to add.The Spirit of God comes in a new and living way to take up His dwelling place in your heart and transform you from above. Let Him come and carry out what Christ has already accomplished for you.
