After twenty-one years in and out of therapy, Amy knew she was dangerously close to a nervous breakdown. Suffering severe abuse growing up, she spent much of her life simply trying to find healing...looking for something or someone who could help put an end to her pain.
"It's hard to fully grasp that this broadcast is reaching people on the other side of the globe every single day and pointing them to Jesus Christ in a practical way."

David George, Radio Producer
Then one day, as hope was seemingly lost, Amy came across a Bible teacher on TV who got her attention. Day after day and week after week, she continued to watch and listen to Enjoying Everyday Life with Joyce Meyer, until one day she realized the pain had started to go away...and God was beginning to replace the hurts from the past with a brand-new hope for her future.

Thanks to the generous support of our friends and partners, every day thousands just like Amy find real-life answers, purpose for living and the abundant hope they are looking for through our worldwide television and radio broadcasts.

In 1993 God led Dave and Joyce Meyer to take a leap of faith and begin broadcasting Joyce's practical teachings on two U.S. TV stations. Today, fourteen years later, our Enjoying Everyday Life telecast airs on 469 stations worldwide, reaching a potential audience of 3 billion people. In addition, our programs can be accessed around the clock at www.joycemeyer.org.

From the war-ravaged Middle East...to the traffic-clogged streets of Chennai, India...to the Great Plains of the United States, Enjoying Everyday Life reaches out to all ages and all cultures with a practical message of hope for daily living.

In fact, 2006 marked the tenth anniversary of airing our telecast in the Russian language—our very first foreign language broadcast. Today our program can be viewed worldwide in thirty different languages, including Chinese, French, Korean, Portuguese, Ukrainian, and even Arabic throughout the Middle East. This past year alone, we began broadcasting in Khmer throughout Cambodia, in Farsi throughout the Middle East, and also in two additional Indian dialects—Bahasa and Urdu—throughout the nation of India.

However, in some of the most remote areas of the world, radio is still the most reliable method of transmitting the Gospel. And with your help, we are excited to report that our newly updated Enjoying Everyday Life radio program is reaching more people in greater ways than ever before. With a new format and a fresh sound, our broadcasts not only offer more variety but also have an updated, contemporary feel that goes a long way in reaching out to a wider audience.

"We have made some very positive changes," says Radio Producer David George. "I believe we've made the program more real and personal, and we are even showing a more personal side of Joyce, which I think people can really relate to.
"It's still hard to fully grasp that this broadcast is reaching people on the other side of the globe every single day and pointing them to Jesus Christ in a practical way."

We will also remember 2006 as the year Joyce Meyer Ministries began podcasting our TV and radio programs. In fact, Enjoying Everyday Life was iTunes' top "religion/spirituality" podcast in October and has remained in the top ten ever since! These downloadable versions of our broadcasts are going out to thousands of people—many of them teens and young adults—who use the convenience of modern technology to receive and listen to Joyce's teachings in the midst of their busy lifestyles. Now we can be there 24/7 for even more individuals...supplying what they need exactly when they need it.

Jesus and His disciples knew where to reach people—the marketplace, the temple square, and even the coliseums where ideas were debated. And in the same way, Joyce Meyer Ministries wants to go where the people are...and we know without a doubt that so many are reached through mass media like TV and radio. Research indicates that North Americans spend up to four hours per day watching television or surfing the web! Our Enjoying Everyday Life daily and weekly programs offer practical teaching that communicates the truth of God's Word—helping people with their spiritual growth, finances, health, relationships, and so many other areas.

We are living in such an exciting time...a period more technologically advanced than any other time in history. And yet, at the very heart of everything we do, we are still committed to one simple thing—helping people. And although we may change the medium, we will never change the message...that special message of hope in Jesus Christ that has helped thousands just like Amy discover new life and a new beginning.

Friends and partners, thank you for your generous support that literally makes it all possible. More than ever before, we are committed to our vision of touching every nation...every city...every day with the Gospel—and we are so blessed to know that you stand behind us in all that we do.

Because of you, every day we are sending a message to the world...a message that says Jesus Christ is real, He loves them beyond measure, and He wants to help them in every single area of their lives. Thank you for sending that message.

  • In 2006 we celebrated 10 years of airing our foreign-language telecasts. We currently broadcast our program in 30 different languages worldwide.

  • This past year we began podcasting our TV and radio programs for the first time, and in October our Enjoying Everyday Life radio podcast reached #1 on iTunes.

  • Before I came to Christ, my life was a mess—I'd been married and divorced three times, and I was an alcoholic. I didn't believe that anything could change my life.

But the day I came across your television broadcast, God transformed my life. Finally someone was telling me how to walk like Christ did: how to ask for forgiveness, how to pray, how to be peaceful and content, and how to give my weaknesses to God and lean on Him. Joyce, you said that you got so exasperated about one area of your life that you finally told God, "I can't change this. If You don't change it, I'm just going to stay this way."

I told God that I felt the same way, and if He wanted my lifestyle to change, He would have to help me. And that's when I started to change. Today, I am peaceful, content, and so thankful that God has changed me...and thankful that He used you as the instrument to make it happen.
