Missions
Through our Enjoying Everyday Life® television and radio programs, each day Joyce can potentially reach 4.5 billion people around the world in 50 languages. In 2011, we have added Bhojpuri, Burmese, Chhattisgarhi, Estonian, Hebrew, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malagasy and Manipuri . In 2010 we began broadcasting our program in two additional languages-Bulgarian and Hungarian. Our goal is to reach every nation, every city, every day, and our television and
Al-Hayat is a perfect example. Joyce’s program is dubbed in Arabic and airs on this network eight times a day throughout the Middle East. So, although we can’t physically go and evangelize this entire region, our broadcasts can reach a large segment of the population.
We received a letter from a woman in Syria named Loli: “Joyce, you are so precious to millions of people in the Middle East. I want to thank you for this excellent program, which changed the whole course of my life. Today I am free because of Jesus and the good teaching I received via Joyce Meyer Ministries."
The ability to impact a region of the world so closed to the Gospel almost seems impossible, even in the twenty-first century. But in reality, our opportunities are only continuing to grow.
John Pipes, Joyce Meyer Ministries Senior Broadcast Producer, is excited about our future capabilities. “As we expand into more web-based media, the potential to reach more people is so much greater than even five years ago. Technology is going to allow us to expand beyond the traditional boundaries we’ve had in the past.”
And we have already seen evidence. In 2009, our Enjoying Everyday Life TV and radio programs were consistently some of iTunes’ top “religion/spirituality” podcasts. Each month these downloadable versions of our broadcasts are going out to thousands of people-many of them teens and young adults who use the convenience of modern technology to enjoy Joyce’s teachings.
Without question, broadcasting is the most effective means of communicating the Gospel that we have at our disposal.
Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
