Missions
How many chances does a person deserve in life? There are millions of people incarcerated around the world. All people who were created by God to do great things for His kingdom, but somehow lost their way.
We know we might not be able to reach all of them, but we're doing our best to reach as many as possible currently serving time through the Enjoying Everyday Life broadcast, magazine, books, prayers, letters, and personal visits.
"Our desire is to share the Gospel with as many inmates as possible, show them that they are loved, and help them discover a new life in Christ," shares Roy Lormis, Prison Ministry Supervisor for Joyce Meyer Ministries.
That's why our prison ministry teams hit the road each year to meet with inmates from different backgrounds and with different spiritual needs. Each inmate receives a gift bag with hygiene items, an encouraging note, and one of Joyce's books. And when the opportunity arises, the Gospel is shared.
We've had the privilege to visit with 2.4 million inmates in more than 2,900 prisons in 39 countries. And for every inmate we've met, including the more than 118,000 who've accepted Christ, we think it's never too late to give someone a second chance. It's never too late to share the Gospel, and no one is ever too far gone to be embraced by the loving, life-changing arms of God Himself.
Thank you for enabling us to share the love of Christ to inmates all across the United States and around the world. Your support is changing lives one prison at a time.
YOU CAN HELP: For only $2 you can give a hygiene gift bag to an inmate.
Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
