What is geolocation and

what do we use it for?

Geolocation is a tool we use to determine which of our offices services your area by identifying the country from which you are currently accessing our bookstore. If this is not the correct country, just change the location to the country you’re in. For further assistance, contact our office.

Anti-Human Trafficking

In countries like Greece, Ethiopia and America, thousands of women and children every day are forced into human trafficking by being lied to, deceived and ultimately stolen from anything normal for them. They're promised a better life, a good-paying job…maybe even freedom from poverty.

No matter how they get there, it is still one of the most inhumane forms of injustice our world has ever seen.

Fortunately there are organizations that have answered the cry of this injustice and are making strides to help rescue victims from this form of modern day slavery. We're committed to doing everything we can to rescue these girls as well as support other organizations working tirelessly to do the same.

We believe our feeding programs and children’s homes are also an extension of this outreach—helping vulnerable children receive the help they need before they can be thrown into this horrific lifestyle.

Where We’re Working

United States: Partnering with the Los Angeles Dream Center, we funded the refurbishing of a floor at the Los Angeles Dream Center, for women rescued from the streets of Los Angeles. The Dream Center works with local and state agencies to rescue the women and offer them safety from pimps and handlers.

Thailand: In 2010, we fully funded the construction of Gabrielle House. This home is a refuge for the women we’re able to rescue. Currently 20 women and 1 child are living in the home.

Ethiopia: The red-light district of Addis Ababa is home to thousands of women trapped in the commercial sex industry. We’ve partnered with Crisis Aid International to reach these women and offer them a new life at one of two homes funded by Hand of Hope. We are currently caring for 11 women and 8 children.

Australia, Bulgaria, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the US: We’ve partnered with The A21 Campaign to rescue women in ten countries. Greece has been labeled “The Human Trafficking Hub” in Europe, so with it’s headquarters in Thessaloniki, A21 is strategically positioned to reach as many girls as possible.

Cambodia: The She Rescue Home in Cambodia is a place for young girls to escape the industry. They receive counseling, medical attention and vocational training.

India: The Community Development Center provides a safe environment offering spiritual, academic, health, child care, and food distribution. We are currently helping 200 women, 8 youth, and 23 children.

YOU CAN HELP: Your support can help us care for more women and children.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
