Disaster Relief Summary

Answering the Cry for Help

When disaster strikes, Joyce Meyer Ministries is committed to bringing immediate and compassionate assistance to those in need.

With more than seventeen international offices and unique partnerships with more than fifty ministries around the world, we have positioned ourselves to respond at a moment's notice to crisis situations, offering humanitarian relief.

Friends and partners, to date, your generous support has enabled us to donate more than $7 million to disaster relief efforts.

For example, in response to the 2005 tsunami in Southeast Asia, Joyce Meyer Ministries was able to reach more than 6,000 families with food and vital resources, give away hundreds of bikes, rickshaws, and fishing boats, and completely rebuild three entire villages in India and Sri Lanka, constructing 500 new homes.

Along the U.S. Gulf Coast, in partnership with Service International, we also repaired or rebuilt more than 450 homes devastated by hurricanes. In addition, we delivered more than 180,000 pounds of water, milk, baby formula and other vital necessities to those desperately in need.

It is only through your incredible support that we have been able to offer such lifesaving assistance to those who have been affected by disasters. And for thousands of precious men, women and children, your gifts of compassion continue to make all the difference, bringing real help and hope into the most current situations affecting our world today.
