Accessing Joyce's Messages Anytime


Throughout the day and even in the middle of the night, people are finding encouragement—right when they need it. Whether it’s through our books, magazines, resources or our teachings online, Joyce Meyer Ministries is reaching millions with the message of Jesus Christ.

After struggling with years of sexual, emotional and drug abuse, being put in and out of mental institutions and suffering numerous health complications, Liz C. was told she would be on medication for the rest of her life and was abandoned by many of her friends and family. She would read the Bible and pray and take her medication, but nothing seemed to be changing.

That’s when she found the book, Battlefield of the Mind.

"I never realized that I could choose to think and feel differently. This book was the key that unlocked every door for me," says Liz C. It took her over a year to read the book and apply its lessons and the Word of God to her life, but she will attest that she has never been the same.

No longer on disability, she is off all medications and is living a peaceful, victorious life.

Since it was written in 1995, the Lord has used Battlefield of the Mind to impact so many people in a powerful way, and this year, it surpassed 2 million copies sold. Including Battlefield of the Mind and her two newest books, The Secret to True Happiness and 100 Ways to Simplify Your Life, Joyce has authored 104 books.

In 2008 alone, we distributed more than 4.4 million copies of her books in a total of 78 languages.

In addition, Joyce Meyer Ministries distributed more than 3.6 million of Joyce’s teachings on audio and video, as well as 5.3 million copies of our Enjoying Everyday Life® magazine.

On the Web
But the bookstore isn’t the only place you can access Joyce’s teachings and find Christ-centered help. Our website is an outlet to watch our TV program, download podcasts, view our online magazine, or even browse our eStore to order your favorite resources, or to just find out more about the ministry.

We thank God that in 2008, more than 11 million people—3 million for the first time—visited our website to receive the help and hope that only He can provide. Joyce Meyer Ministries also maintains nine foreign websites: Arabic, Farsi, French, German, Indian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.

This year, we even added a new feature, the newly designed Hand of Hope website. Complete with a comprehensive look at missions outreaches, current world news, an interactive map and world travel log, the new site offers up-to-date information on all Joyce Meyer Ministries world missions projects.

Social Networking
This year, Joyce Meyer Ministries has also maintained a presence on the Internet through various social and media networking sites, such as Twitter external link, Facebook external link, YouTube external link, ShoutLife external link and MySpace external link. More than anything, our goal is to reach as many people with the Gospel, and these social sites allow us to do just that.

In October, we joined the ever-growing Facebook site. Within just a few short months we had more than 9,000 "fans," averaging 120 new fans every day.

Members are able to mark attendance to events such as conferences and also are able to comment on the page, post videos and pictures and start new discussions. The ministry is also able to start discussions and send updates about the ministry.

Although some of these sites have been around for a bit, they have seen an increase in relevance and reach. They have given us the opportunity to share with even more people every day.
