Mission Endeavors

TOGETHER, WE'RE MAKING A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!

Reaching out to those in need has always been very important to Dave and Joyce. And because of the faithful prayers and financial gifts of our friends and partners, Joyce Meyer Ministries has been able to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of many. Here is a snapshot of some of the ministries you are helping to make happen:

CONFERENCES
From July 14 - August 12, 2007, Joyce Meyer Ministries hosted Hope Cambodia—30 Days of Hope, an outreach designed to bring hope to a nation in need. More than 54,000 people accepted Christ, more than 160,000 lives were touched through all of the outreaches and more than 9,000 medical and dental patients were treated. For more information about Hope Cambodia, please visit www.hopecambodia.org.

In 2005 Joyce Meyer Ministries held fourteen national and three international conferences. In 2006 we held twelve national and two international conferences. In January 2006 Joyce ministered to over 1.2 million people during a four-day conference in Hyderabad, India, and in April 2006 Joyce ministered to over 66,000 people during a three-day conference in Kigali, Rwanda. In addition to these conferences, Joyce also attended special speaking engagements in England, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine. In January 2007, Joyce ministered in Australia and New Zealand, where she preached at 17 services and ministered to over 110,000 people. She spoke at the Parachute Conference in New Zealand, which is a four-day event designed to reach the youth and she spoke at a Leader's Seminar in Australia. In October 2007, Joyce Meyer Ministries held conferences in Essen, Germany and Johannesburg, South Africa. Also in October, Joyce spoke at Hillsong Conferences in Kiev, Ukraine and London, England.

Additionally, over the past several years, Joyce Meyer Ministries has held international conferences in Kampala, Uganda; Sydney, Australia; Belfast, Ireland; London, England; Birmingham, England; Toronto, Canada; Hyderabad, India; and Johannesburg, South Africa. We have also hosted and helped sponsor several other international conferences in cooperation with other ministries. These included two conferences in Jamaica, three in Africa, one in the Philippines, and a special pastors and Christian leadership conference in Israel. It was there that Joyce ministered to nearly 70 percent of the Christian leaders in Israel.

FEEDING PROGRAMS
For many years we have had the privilege of teaming up with many ministries across the globe to provide food for children and families. Some of these ministries include International Crisis Aid, Children's Cup, and Los Angeles Dream Center. Joyce Meyer Ministries helps provide people in many different lands with food to eat. In 2007, along with our friends and partners, we provided more than 11.1 million meals to some of the most impoverished people around the world. The countries touched this past year alone include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Laos, Malawi, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Russia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Thailand, USA, and Zimbabwe. We are feeding over 28,000 children a day across the globe, and Dave and Joyce have set a goal to one day be able to feed 1 million children every day.

FOREIGN TV
The Enjoying Everyday Life® television program is currently broadcast in 34 different languages.

HOPE FOR THE CHILDREN ORPHANAGES
Through the support of our partners, Joyce Meyer Ministries has established and supports many orphanages around the world. Currently we fully fund and operate 49 orphanages across Asia, in countries such as India, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, and Bhutan. In addition to providing home-cooked meals and a clean and safe environment, these orphanages also serve to meet the children's spiritual needs. As in every area of ministry, the teaching of God's Word and prayer are both emphasized. In the arms of God, these children learn that they are not outcasts or burdens to society—they are priceless treasures! It costs $21 a month per child to be housed, fed and educated.

MEDICAL CARE
In India, our Chandrakal Hospital has had 2,265 outpatients, 651 inpatients, 67 HIV/AIDS outpatients and 42 HIV/AIDS inpatients so far in 2007.

In Cambodia, over 9,000 medical and dental patients were treated during the Hope Cambodia outreach in July and August, 2007.

In Peru, Joyce Meyer Ministries has partnered with Spill the News to provide anti-parasite medication for 1 million children.

In Kosovo, our dental clinic has seen 1,634 patients so far in 2007.

Our Mobile Dental Unit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has seen 174 patients and has extracted 354 teeth so far in 2007.

Because of our partners, in 2005 we opened a hospital in a remote part of India, which is making free health care available to over 100,000 people in the surrounding villages. Nearby, we are also in the process of building a new hospice and orphanage for children with AIDS. We provide care for those affected by AIDS in Africa and India, and free health care in various parts of Asia. We also fully support the complete operation of a medical boat that travels to villages along the Amazon River in Brazil, offering free medical and dental care. So far in 2007, we have seen 2,070 medical patients and 1,233 dental patients in this medical boat outreach.

PRISONS
By the grace of God, the help of numerous volunteers, and the financial support of friends and partners, we are reaching out ...to proclaim freedom for the prisoners (Luke 4:18 NIV). To date, our prison outreach has distributed 1,564,672 hygiene gift bags throughout 1,791 prisons in 50 states and 25 countries including the nations of Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, El Salvador, Grenada, Costa Rica, Canada, Nicaragua, Belize, Bahamas, Fiji, Honduras, India, Kenya, Panama, Mexico, Rwanda and more. Each bag consists of personal hygiene products and one of Joyce's books. The response has been overwhelming.

RESOURCES
To date, Joyce Meyer Ministries has printed more than 8 million copies of over 63 of Joyce's books in 71 foreign languages including Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Russian and Hebrew. More are being printed as we speak. The thousands of testimonies we receive confirm that the Word of God is changing people's lives.

ST. LOUIS DREAM CENTER
Since its grand opening in October 2000, the St. Louis Dream Center continues to reach the people of the inner city of St. Louis with a caring hand of hope. Through a team of volunteers and trained staff, we reach out to the community, providing food, clothing and friendship to neighboring residents. The St. Louis Dream Center has established several ministries, including outreaches to the homeless, nursing home residents, prostitutes and neighborhood children. Its facilities also include a church, where people can worship and learn about the Lord each Sunday. There are two services at the Dream Center on Sunday morning at 9am and 11am. Every Friday night from 7-10pm, a trained ministry team from the St. Louis Dream Center goes into the streets of the inner city of St. Louis to minister to the homeless. We share the love of Christ by providing things like food, drinks, blankets and clothing, as well as interacting with the people. The St. Louis Dream Center also sends out ministry teams every week to visit anywhere from 600-650 people who are living in senior complexes and nursing homes in the St. Louis area. At each gathering, they share songs, scriptures and testimonies to encourage and teach the residents about salvation, healing and the Holy Spirit.

TELEVISION AND RADIO BROADCASTS
Joyce Meyer's Enjoying Everyday Life program is broadcast on over 630 television stations and on hundreds of radio stations around the world in 34 languages reaching most of the globe. Without question, broadcasting is the most effective means of communicating the Gospel that we have at our disposal.

TSUNAMI RELIEF
Since December 2004 we have been intensely involved in tsunami relief efforts due to our ongoing extensive involvement in that part of the world. Immediately after the disaster took place, we had 3,000 people on the ground providing emergency assistance and taking care of over 30,000 people. The short-term aid included food, water, medical assistance, cleanup, blankets, cooking supplies and shelter. In addition, we completed the rebuilding of three villages that were destroyed by the tsunami in India and Sri Lanka. This translates into hundreds of houses and boats, supplies, many bicycles for transportation, rickshaws, businesses, and the food and basic items necessary for daily living. This effort was made possible by the overwhelming outpouring of compassion by our partners, and 100 percent of funds donated to this effort went directly to our tsunami relief.

In addition, Joyce Meyer Ministries built a Christian residential school for tsunami orphans. This enables many children to remain connected with their extended family and receive a proper education.

WATER
In Brazil, we have completed 847 water filter systems in partnership with Amazon PAZ. In India, we have completed over 200 "Wells of Life" projects. All of these projects include a church, a well and toilet facilities.

This is only a small portion of all that Joyce Meyer Ministries is doing all over the world.
