Job Title: Senior Web Developer & Architect - Software Development
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary
This person will help design, build, and maintain highly scalable, web-based solutions that will ensure streamlined and efficient processes. Responsibilities will also include developing web applications, interacting with users at all levels, mentoring other developers and documenting solutions. The ideal candidate will desire an energetic, fast-paced environment, enjoy making contributions that have a large impact, and want to be a part of a team that deals with advanced technologies.
Job Description
  • Design, develop, test and document highly scalable web-based applications
  • Participate in functional and system requirements, gathering and refinement
  • Direct experience at scaling a contemporary web application to users in a global environment
Job Requirements
  • Expert in current technologies, like C#.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB, JAVA Script, HTML, AJAX, SQL, IIS, database replication, clustering, and web farms/load balancing concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, SharePoint 2007, and Content Management Server a plus but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in web services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Significant object-oriented experience, including analysis, design and architectural patterns
  • Discipline to document ideas and code in a clear, comprehensive and organized manner
  • Experience communicating, troubleshooting and solving issues and bugs
  • Self-starter, proactive, positive, creative and flexible
  • Familiar with the culture/community of the Internet and knowledge of cutting-edge technologies of Internet concepts
  • Knowledge of cross-platform browser compatibility restrictions and requirements
  • Leadership experience designing compelling solutions
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete multiple or repetitive tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • MCAD or MCSD a plus
