Job Title: IT Support Technician – Technology Infrastructure
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for what is considered day-to-day Level 1 and 2 IT support. This includes installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of corporate desktops, laptops, printers and network. Ensure desktop technologies are current and capable of supporting business initiative across the organization.
Job Description
  • Respond to internal ticket system, telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for IT-related technical support
  • Install, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, repair computer systems, hardware, software and computer peripherals
  • Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems
  • Support and maintain Active Directory user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware (workstations; printers/copiers; phones, network).
  • Troubleshoot various software (Windows XP, Vista, Microsoft Office, antivirus….)
Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of and experience with Windows XP Operating System, Vista and various Microsoft Office suites
  • Knowledge of and experience with various computer hardware, such as desktop and laptop computers, laserjet printers, network equipment (network interface cards, etc)
  • Ability to work closely with all internal departments on support issues
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, Active Directory, Exchange and other TI components
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • General business knowledge
  • Dependable with a proactive approach, results-oriented and flexible
