• Work with the other broadcast engineering staff in daily operations
• Maintain and repair professional and broadcast equipment
• Ensure that the broadcast signals on all tapes to be broadcast or aired are within the FCC regulations and requirements
• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot various broadcasting equipment in the studio and on location
• Test, evaluate, recommend and install any new software updated for production and postproduction needs
• Monitor inventory and replacement parts and other engineering supplies according to departmental procedures

• Knowledge of analog and digital broadcast specifications for implementing systems and designing new systems with updated equipment and technology, including design, evaluating costs and specifications, and installing new equipment
• Knowledge of broadcast systems circuitry, design and/or installation
• Experience and knowledge in HD, SD, analog and digital broadcast systems
• Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining cameras, switchers and VTR’s
• Technical certification is a definite plus
• Some travel
