Pennie Shepard has been involved in full-time ministry her entire adult life. She has served as a campus minister, reaching out to students on the campuses of St. Louis University and Washington University, and also served as a pastor for twenty-two years at Life Christian Church in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 2002 she organized, launched and administrated a satellite location for the two-year Every Nation Leadership Institute Bible School at Life Christian Church, which has graduated over 450 students from 2002 to 2004. In 2004 she organized and launched another satellite location of the Bible school at Morning Star Community Church in Seattle, Washington.

Pennie attended Central Missouri State University. She currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband, Michael, (of twenty-four years) and two daughters.
