  13. Is Joyce Meyer Ministries a "word of faith" ministry?

    • Joyce Meyer Ministries believes in the Word of God. Joyce teaches that God has made promises to us in His Word and as believers, we should trust His promises (see 2 Peter 1:3,4). However, it can be damaging when people place their faith in faith alone instead of placing their faith in God. Misappropriation of God’s promises solely for personal gain is not scripturally supported. For more information, view our Statement of Faith.

  14. Does Joyce Meyer Ministries teach a "prosperity gospel"?

    • Joyce Meyer Ministries believes that God desires to bless His people. Joyce teaches that God’s blessings and prosperity apply to the spiritual, emotional, physical and financial areas of life. These blessings and prosperity are then to be used to bless others (see Genesis 12:1-3). A “prosperity gospel” that solely equates blessing with financial gain is out of balance and could damage a person’s walk with God. For more information, view our Statement of Faith.

  17. May I speak to or pray with Joyce? Will she personally read my letter?

    • This has been one of the most challenging things for Joyce. She would love to be able to read every individual letter and personally speak with and pray for all those who call in. However, because of time constraints, her many responsibilities and her desire to stay faithful to God and focused on His call for her life, she is not able to respond personally to the many requests she receives. If you are in need of prayer, please contact one of our staff members who will pray with you. You may reach our prayer line by calling (800) 727-9673.

  18. What is a Joyce Meyer Ministries partner?

    • Joyce Meyer Ministries’ partners make everything we do possible. First, as the Lord leads, they pray for our ministry and its many worldwide outreaches. Partners are also the main financial supporters of the work we do, pledging to give financially to Joyce Meyer Ministries on a regular monthly basis. 19. What are the benefits of partnering with Joyce Meyer Ministries? Do I have to give a certain amount?

    • As a partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries, you are changing lives around the world. With your support, every day we are feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, broadcasting the Gospel to millions through TV and radio, bringing hope to prisoners, ministering to the elderly, reaching out to troubled youth, caring for the homeless and so much more. In addition to impacting the world for Jesus Christ, you will receive a special resource from Joyce every month as well as a free subscription to our Enjoying Everyday Life magazine. Most importantly, you will come under a strong prayer covering. Dave and Joyce often say that they pray for their partners like they pray for their own family. In addition, ministry prayer teams pray regularly for your needs and every aspect of your life. To become a partner, we do not require you to give any certain amount; we simply ask that you pray and seek God’s guidance in this decision.
