CEO Hand of Hope
David L. Meyer is Dave and Joyce's eldest son and CEO of Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions. He is responsible for coordinating humanitarian and disaster relief efforts; managing 13 foreign offices; planning multiple international festivals; overseeing the foreign broadcast of television and radio programs, Enjoying Everyday Life®, which are broadcast to a potential of 4.5 billion people world-wide and available in 40 different languages; and managing the foreign book translation services having Joyce Meyer's books translated into over 80 different languages.
David has been in ministry for over 20 years. He is continually developing new ways to help the lost and hurting. He works in countries that are hostile to the Gospel, providing much needed aid to people within those nations. His tremendous passion to help people and reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ has taken him around the globe to over 100 nations. David travels extensively to ensure that Joyce Meyer Ministries' partner donations and world missions donations are spent with integrity.
David graduated from Christ to the World Bible School and served as a missionary in Costa Rica prior to working for Joyce Meyer Ministries. His long-term service and commitment to excellence has ensured that the worldwide efforts of Joyce Meyer Ministries are impacting and changing lives, and that all of its worldwide programs fulfill the biblical mandate to take care of those in need. David and his wife Shelly reside in St. Louis, Missouri, and have two grown children.
